Our Sisal is 100% natural, untreated, unoiled and unbleached and is imported by Maple Leaf Ropes directly from Brazil (known for growing the best Sisal in the world). It is perfect for use around pets. It doesn't have the same oily smell that manila rope has. This low cost natural fiber rope has a rough texture which provides a firm grip and holds knots well. Fair to good surface and internal abrasion resistance makes sisal a good choice for general purpose jobs where moderate strength is required. It is lighter in color, softer and more pliable than manila.
