Cougar 3.0 Rail Trolley with Karabiner
Cougar™ Fall Protection System:
• Certified to CSA Z259.2.1-98 latest amendment (Nov. ‘01).
• Heavy duty fall protection; aluminum trolley and rail
• Provides instant fall arrest (<1" movement). This means a greater comfort level vs. falling several inches, as with other systems.
• A “brake lever” with teeth bears on the thick rail wall, eliminating need for notches or stops.
• Trolley is removable. Rail accepts multiple trolleys.
• Rail and trolley body will never rust. Made of high quality 6061-T6 aluminum.
• Trolley has exclusive SafetyLok™ orientation lock-out feature. Prevents reverse installation of trolley.
• Top-most rail section has a “bolt-stop” safety feature which prevents climber from continuing off the rail.
• Other exclusive safety advantages:
• Rail has symmetrical shape. This means even if all the rail gets inadvertently installed upside down, the trolley still won’t go on. That’s a risk with asymmetrical rail products.
• Rescue. In the event of serious fall, Cougar™ trolley remains operational. Therefore, a 2nd rescue worker does not have to detach injured man from his trolley when lowering him.
