The brackets are easy to install. Simply thread the rope through the hole and install the included set screw. The threads of the screw will go through the rope to lock things in place. In addition, each bracket comes with two wood screws to attach it to a solid surface. These brackets accept any rope that is 1 inch in diameter.The bracket is 3" tall and has a base plate diameter of 1 3/4".
